🌱 Spring Threshold: A Planning & Reflection Retreat

Facilitated by Kasey March

Spring is a natural threshold — a season of emergence, recalibration, and intentional growth. In death work, we often hold space for others at moments of transition. This retreat is an opportunity to pause and tend to your own.
Picture
Spring Threshold is an intimate, in-person day of guided reflection and gentle planning for death doulas and death care workers who want space to reconnect with their values, clarify what’s emerging in their practice, and step into the growing season with intention.

This is not a training or certification. It’s not a productivity workshop. It’s a thoughtfully structured, community-held day designed to support sustainability, clarity, and connection in the work we do.

What the Day Will Include

Throughout the retreat, we’ll move through:
  • Guided reflection on the past season — what has grown, what feels complete, and what may be ready to compost
  • Values-based visioning for the year ahead
  • Gentle, practical planning for the upcoming season
  • Small-group witnessing and spacious individual work time
  • A spoken intentions circle and community ritual to close
While I will hold the overall structure and facilitation, much of the reflection and planning will be individual, allowing you to engage your own practice, questions, and next steps in a way that feels grounded and personal.

Why an Intimate Group?

Space is intentionally limited (approximately 12–18 participants) to support depth, trust, and meaningful connection. Death work can be powerful and isolating; this day is an opportunity to gather in thoughtful community with others who understand the nuances of this field.
