I started volunteering with hospice to gain experience working with the dying and I showed up to any local death related event I could find. I wasn’t connecting with other death doulas beyond participating in some Facebook groups, and that wasn’t enough for me. I needed a place to connect with others doing this work.
If the place didn’t already exist, it was time to create it. So, I started the Vermont Death Doula Network. |
With a dedicated place to connect with peers, gain more knowledge, and share your expertise you’re going to do amazing things.
Hi, I'm Kasey.I help people contemplating or nearing their end of their lives have a well supported death. I’m a trained end-of-life doula who provides education, support, and advocacy to my clients and their circle of care.
My superpower? I’m great at learning wildly complex systems (often designed to exclude or confuse folks) and explaining them to others in ways that are easier to navigate. Like the time my mom injured her back and I helped her file all the disability paperwork for the state and the hospital where she worked. The Vermont Death Doula Network is a place for end-of-life doulas to connect with peers, gain more knowledge, and share their expertise. Together, we create quality community deathcare. Will you join us on this mission? |
